The ACO Sport stepped water jump is used to form the top part of cast in place water jumps. It consists of of L-shaped precast polymer concrete wall sections with EDPM rubber capped top edges and two corner sections with feet. The wall sections are placed on a six inch concrete slab and fastened together. The water jump sloped surface is poured in place between the wall sections.

Steeplechase water jumps are normally located within the curved infield area on the northern end of the running track. Since competition rules do not specify the precise location, water jumps can also be placed outside the curved area. The ACO Sport water jump conforms to International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) rules and regulations.
