Savannah High School's School of Liberal Studies has a new track and field facility. The stadium has nearly 2,000 seats, cutting-edge lighting and scoreboards, and a blue track to reflect Savannah High's pride. The sports grade artificial turf is enhanced with 'chill-fill' technology, which keeps the field cold and prevents it from becoming too hot.
Problem:
The project's goal was to create a cutting-edge 8-lane polyurethane track surface. It was critical for the design to ensure the track's longevity and the safety of all users.

ACO's K200 was chosen because it not only efficiently drains any runoff but it also ensures the safety of the user and the longevity of the track. More than 350 linear feet of Type 647D grated channels have been installed in and around the railway. ACO's DrainLok boltless locking system provides quick fitting and removal of grates. Helping reduce installation/maintenance time and cost.
