Dealerships & Gas Stations

Dealerships & Gas Stations

Dealership and Gas Station drainage is designed to withstand the daily impact of vehicles driving over the grates and other environmental factors. ACO performs extensive testing on its products to ensure consistent quality and durability. ACO products are suitable for applications with constant traffic, heavy loads, and management of water and other mechanical fluids.

Case Studies

  • TravelCenters of America

    TravelCenters of America

    Cheyenne, Wyoming
ACO MonoBloc HD200 was installed at an Interstate 80 truck stop to provide heavy-duty drainage and spill control. The monolithic polymer concrete system resists hydrocarbons and deicing chemicals, with integral grates and an EN 1433 Class E600 load rating to withstand frequent braking and turning by heavy vehicles.

Considerations

Loading

  • Frequent car and truck traffic will require a drainage system and grate with a minimum Load Rating of  Class C or higher
  • For areas trafficked by fuel and/or delivery trucks, a system and grate with a minimum Load Rating of  Class E is recommended

Application

  • ADA compliant and/or slip resistant grates may be required in pedestrian access areas
  • Wastewater is likely to contain hydrocarbons and an oil/water separator may be required
