Ameris Bank Amphitheatre

Ameris Bank Amphitheatre

Alpharetta, Georgia

Formerly known as the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater, the Ameris Bank Amphitheater at Encore Park in Alpharetta, GA reopened in 2018. The amphitheater originally opened in 2008 but kept facing some drainage issues.

Problem:

A retrofit drain installation was needed to remove standing water and slip hazards in the seating area of the amphitheater.

ACO Solution:
  • ACO Drain®
  • KlassikDrain KS100 with Type 478Q
  • Longitudinal Ductile Iron ADA-Compliant Grate

The KS100 with ADA-compliant grates was selected for the project because it meets the hydraulic requirements. Furthermore, the ductile iron grates are able to endure heavy pedestrian traffic as well as carts transporting equipment throughout the stadium. The Quicklok® system secures the grate into the channel while also allowing quick and easy access to the channel for routine maintenance
