ASU Nelson Fine Arts Center

ASU Nelson Fine Arts Center

Tempe, Arizona

The development project for ASU's Nelson Fine Arts Center includes creating an attractive, cohesive space that responds to a wide range of student uses as well as resolving existing flooding and site drainage issues.

Problem:

Need to resolve existing flooding and site drainage issues.

ACO Solution:
  • ACO StormBrixx®
  • StormBrixx® HD

StormBrixx® HD retention system from ACO was chosen for its design and ability to be installed on an active college campus. The StormBrixx® HD system, which was installed during the second phase of the ongoing expansion, allowed the project to continue on track while adhering to green building initiatives. The system replaces the initial configuration of an arched-chamber structure, which was installed during the first phase of the five-phase project.
