Lower Fox River OU2-5 – Tetra Tech
Green Bay, Wisconsin
The Lower Fox River Operable Units 2–5 (OU2-5) area, which supports the Green Bay Sediment Processing Facility, has begun planning infrastructure upgrades. Tetra Tech EC, Inc. was involved in both the planning and implementation of the site improvements.
Problem:
Tetra Tech EC, Inc.'s purpose is to avoid unwanted oil discharges and to mitigate the effects of any facility discharge.
ACO Solution:
- ACO Drain®
- PowerDrain® S300K
- Slotted Ductile Iron Grates
The drainage system at the facility is designed to direct storm water runoff to an onsite detention pond. ACO's PowerDrain S300K was installed on two perimeter drainage swales that sloped to drain directly to the river, bypassing the onsite detention pond. The facility's purpose is to reduce the likelihood of a discharge reaching navigable waters.
