DTE Energy Electric Company
ACO Aquaduct was installed at the Monroe Power Plant in Monroe, MI to replace a cast-in-place trench drain design. The modular system simplified complex layouts, reducing time and cost while providing durable, efficient drainage for one of the largest coal-fired power plants on the western shore of Lake Erie. -
Pepco
ACO KlassikDrain K200 with 678Q grates was installed across the service-truck parking lot at the Pepco Service Yard to resolve recurring drainage issues. Durable grates handle heavy vehicle loads, while straightforward brackets and layout planning sped installation and minimized downtime.
Considerations
Loading
- Extraordinary heavy loads may be present and require a drainage system and grate with a minimum Load Rating of Class F
- Monolithic systems (Monoblok) or those cast into the slab (Qmax) may be required to withstand dynamic loads
Application
- High capacity intake grates may be required where large volumes are present
- Wastewater may contain hydrocarbons and/or chemicals and chemical resistance and post collection treatment may be necessary
- Slip resistant grates may be required in pedestrian access areas
- Aquaduct custom trench drains are also available for unique applications
