In order to protect it's investment in a new track Arlington High School wanted an effective yet affordable drainage system.
Problem:
Not only can standing water impact on the usability of the track but in the cold winters of the northeast any standing water could easily freeze and cause serious damage to the track surface and reduce it's service life.
ACO Solution:
- Sport 3000 & Catch Basins
System 3000 is a slotted polymer concrete drainage system that is available in straight and radiused sections to fit aesthetically around the entire track. Catch basins are used at intervals around the track for pipe connection and a matching slotted cover allows access to the system for maintenance.
