The Euclid, Ohio Waterfront Improvement Project is a transformational, precedent-setting erosion mitigation and public access infrastructure project that is essential for livability, economic growth and community resiliency.

Problem:

Phase 2 of the project focused on the restoration of a 3/4-mile stretch of shoreline as well as the construction of an ADA-compliant public trail. High-quality storm water drainage systems made of polymer concrete are among the critical infrastructure improvements.

PowerDrain S300K was used on this job as it features an integrally cast-in ductile iron edge rail and longitudinally slotted ADA compliant grates with a load class F (90 ton) loading. PowerDrain S300K system has a 0.5% built-in slope in the channel enabling sufficient runoff to the outlet.
