Port of Vancouver
Vancouver, Washington
The Port of Vancouver was the name of the largest port in Canada and the largest in the Pacific Northwest with 76.5 million metric tons of cargo.
Problem:
The rehabilitation of Terminal 3, Berth 8/9 at the Port of Vancouver required a large capacity drainage system to remove the large volumes of surface water common around the port. In order to meet the hydraulic requirements, a high capacity trench drain and grate would be needed. The grate would also need to withstand heavy loads from forklifts and equipment.
ACO Solution:
- Aquaduct 12" Custom Trench Drain
- Slotted Ductile Iron Grates
A custom solution from Aquaduct proved to be the most effective solution. Aquaduct custom 12" reduces labor cost due to less time, excavation and concrete required during installation.
