Sundance Square
Fort Worth, Texas
Sundance Square has been a gathering place for downtown Fort Worth since 2013. It sums up Fort Worth: the history of the Wild West within a modern city. It's also known as an entertainment hub, with small theaters, events and concerts at Sundance Square Plaza, and the Bass Performance Hall, staging opera, ballet and classical music. Nearby Fort Worth Water Gardens is a serene park with pools and waterfalls.
Problem:
The architect wanted a drain that would blend with the pavers and give it a rustic look for the entrances into the plaza. In areas around the 216 jetted fountains they wanted a system that would blend with the pavers and could also be cleaned out easy.
ACO Solution:
- ACO Drain®
- Brickslot
Stainless steel ACO Brickslot was selected and installed for the project. Access for maintenance is via removable access trays filled with the same pavers, continuing the discreet and aesthetic look.
