ACO Pipe
ACO Pipe is a comprehensive stainless steel drainage pipe system available in multiple diameters with a wide range of fittings and accessories. It offers a reliable alternative to PVC, ABS, HDPE, and cast iron drainage pipes commonly used in industrial and commercial drainage systems, while also providing long-term cost advantages over the lifecycle of a project.
With its push-fit socket and robust double-lip seal, this ACO Pipe ensures long-lasting performance, accommodates thermal expansion, and provides a reliable, efficient solution for a variety of commercial applications. ACO Pipe is also directly compatible with ACO Stainless products and systems.
- Resistant to corrosion and damage from cleaning agents
- Resistant to oxidation and scaling
- Easy to install and maintain
Unique Benefits of ACO Pipe
This stainless steel pipe system combines sanitary design with fast push-fit installation.
Wall Thickness
0.04″–0.08″ (1–2 mm) minimum provides a lightweight, easy to handle system that can withstand everyday wear and tear.
Push-Fit Assembly
10° bevels at socketed ends allow for easy push-fit connectivity within a modular system, offering all the time-saving benefits of traditional PVC pipe systems. Where required, all joints can be fully circumferentially welded for extra security.
Cold-Form Manufacturing
All components are manufactured using cold-forming techniques which minimize the amount of welding required.
Secure Seal
A unique double lip seal on all joints ensures a trouble-free, reliable system.
Advantages to Choosing ACO Pipe
ACO Pipe is manufactured from 316L stainless steel, a material with exceptional benefits.
- Compatibility and Functionality to attach to existing systems in complex layouts
- Minimal Thermal Expansion/Contraction permits hot water jet cleaning without damage
- Sag Resistance to allow for longer horizontal pipe runs
- Fire Resistance prevents need for additional safeguards against spreading fires through walls
- Rat Stop keeps rodents that have entered prior to the system from traveling further in
- Flexible and Durable, sustains larger impacts than alternative materials; bends rather than breaks
- Ease of Installation due to lightweight material and push-fit build
Hygiene First
Sanitary Solutions for Your Environment
Drainage systems are potential havens for large bacterial growth and can be a source of contamination to your workers, product, and local environment. Poorly specified drainage leads to costly ongoing cleaning and maintenance, and at worst it can result in health and safety issues.
ACO excels at manufacturing sanitary products with factors ensuring the cleanliness of your drainage systems.
- 316L stainless steel provides a durable, easily cleaned surface, minimizing bacterial growth.
- Pickling and passivation processes performed by ACO restore physical properties of stainless steel, increasing corrosion resistance and smoothing the surface.
- Completely drainable systems eliminate stagnant water, smells, microbial growth, and chemical hazards

HygieneFirst
Drainage systems are a particularly important niche for the persistence of listeria and can be a source of food contamination. Poorly specified drainage leads to costly ongoing cleaning and maintenance, and at worst it can result in food contamination.
ACO Pipe benefits from ACO’s HygieneFirst philosophy: manufacturing products with factors that help ensure health and safety of workers, product, and the local environment.
Smooth welding surface quality along with pickling and passivation of all stainless steel products within the ACO Pipe system safeguards against corrosion and allows for easy cleaning.
Seals within ACO Pipe and fittings are available in materials with a variety of resistances, as well.
ACO Pipe is available in various lengths to minimize the amount of connections necessary and further reduce the amount of weaker points within the piping system.
Comprehensive Range
ACO offers a wide selection of straights, bends, branches, coupling and installation hardware at a variety of lengths and diameters.
316L Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant, hygienic, low maintenance material with an impressive strength to weight ratio.
Push-Fit
A 10° bevel facilitates easy push-fit connection of sections. Connections are lubed for ease and sealed via double lip seal. No need for on-site welding.
Cold Forming
All components are manufactured using cold forming techniques, which minimize the amount of welding on delivered parts.
SCH 5 Wall Thickness
Minimum lightweight yet durable wall thickness. Components are easy to handle and manipulate during staging and installation.
Double Lip Seal
ACO Pipe is fitted with an EPDM double seal, which provides added security for long term reliability and ease of installation. FPM and NPR seals are available.
Optimum Joint Integrity
Components have a low coefficient of thermal expansion compared to plastics, preventing failures due to temperature fluctuations.
Sag-Proof
Stainless steel piping will not sag over time like PVC, ABS, and HDPE, allowing for less hanging components needed for support.
Food & Beverage
ACO Pipe is ideal for applications that require exceptionally sanitary environments, such as those necessary for food and beverage production, storage, and distribution.
