University of Georgia Track and Field
Athens, Georgia
The University of Georgia is a public research university with its main campus in Athens, Georgia. Founded in 1785, it is one of the oldest public universities in the United States.
Problem:
When the design team was creating the new track and field facility at the University of Georgia they had one thing decided, to use ACO Sport drainage systems.
ACO Solution:
- Sport 4000
The University had first used the ACO Sport drainage system 25 years ago and are only replacing the system because they are putting in a new track and field facility in the same location. ACO Sport System 4000 was used in a portion of the track while System 2000 was used in the remainder. The ADA compliant grates do not take away from the aesthetics of the new facility and provide safety for the athletes.

-
