Kenyon College

Gambier, Ohio

Kenyon College is a private liberal arts college in Gambier, Ohio. It was founded in 1824 and has a 1,000-acre campus is set in a rural setting.

Problem:

A major overhaul of the sports facilities at the college the outdoor athletic track was resurfaced and a new perimeter trench drain was installed.

ACO Solution:
  • System 4000 with galvanized steel slotted grates

System 4000 with galvanized steel grates were selected with 8 catch basins to connect to under ground storm water drainage pipes. This will ensure the track is effectively drained to prolong the life of the track. This would provide the track with it's own drainage, preventing water running onto the edge of the field and possibly flooding the area where they meet.
