Home of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, MLS's Atlanta United FC, and a future Atlanta NWSL team, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the proud successor of the now-demolished Georgia Dome. The upgraded stadium now features an innovative architectural design, including an open-air build to provide outdoor play and avoid potential severe weather damage that plagued the Georgia Dome's roofing and outer panels.
Problem:
General pedestrian traffic was expected outside the stadium, but additional care would be needed to account for heavy-duty traffic in the northeast loading dock.
